Just leased my 2013 Nissan Sentra Monday with about 10 miles on it...took it to work got home went for another drive...Tranny took a puke...about 62 miles, shot...WTF... they are being pretty good at the dealership, but I do not want that car back...

Best Features

I am having the same issue with my 2013 Sentra SR. It has been failing to shift on the highway. feels like I am driving the car in second gear getting on the highway. I brought it into the dealership today and just got a call that the transmission needs to be replaced and it was not safe to drive. ETA on getting a replacement transmission is 2 weeks... WOW. I have been an avid fan of Nissan for over 10 years and this is my 10th Nissan(both wife and I get Nissan's). May not be a customer any longer after this one.

I am not surprise to hear all the CVT issues. We have 5 Versa's in our fleet and we have 3 CVT failures. Nissan has been struggling for years with CVT's and yet they continue to keep going with this technology. Give me a conventional auto any day, CVT's are horrible to drive and they do not hold up.
