Certainly akadin. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s March buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2013 Sentra SL with 15,000 miles per year are .00043 and 61% for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier. The SL does not come with leather. Leather is an option. I bought the graphite blue with marble gray interior. The car was purchased as a present for my mom and she was completely ecstatic when she saw it. From the outside looking in, the car definitely looks like it's worth more than 20k. I took the car on a road trip right after purchasing it and it is surprisingly quiet. ... Read More

Test drove this car today and was very impressed! Very composed and stable smooth ride and the new CVT tranny is pretty slick actually, plenty of power for whatever I threw at it. Was the basic model and the MSRP was about $20,500 and this car had the bolt on wheel covers. Sat in a SL in the showroom with the upgraded cloth seating surfaces and it had navi and a ... Read More

FWIW there's mid-sized cars that can be had for less than that right now, e.g. Sonata GLS with Preferred Pkg, Optima, Passat. Maybe others. So IMO this kind of money for a compact isn't that great a deal. Have you compared prices at other dealers, and have you done any negotiating yet with this dealer or is this their first offer?

You'll probably have better luck getting feedback in our Sentra Lease Questions discussion. It's not been very active, but people do lurk, and you're more likely to get a response there than in a separate discussion.

I drove a 2013 Sentra SV today while at my local Nissan dealership for maintenance on my 2010 Sentra 2.0S (oil/filter, inspections, tire rotation, hand wash + interior vacuum = $14.99, suchadeal). Here's my impressions: * Steering feel is improved over the old Sentra. The disconnected steering feel was my #1 gripe about the old Sentra, and I was glad to see Nissan addressed this. The main difference I found was, ... Read More

The Sentra is mid-size... for the mid-1990s. Now it's about the same size as most other compact sedans. And mid-sized cars are more like the full-sized cars of yesterday. CR just reported on the 2013 Altima and they averaged 31 mpg overall and 44 mpg on the highway--excellent for such a big car. If Nissan used the same tricks on the Sentra, it should be able to average 34 mpg or ... Read More

I stopped by my local Nissan dealer last night; they were just closing but I was able to sit in a loaded 2013 Sentra SL. The sticker price nearly gave me a coronary (pushed $24k) but it was a loaded model with leather, nav, premium pkg, etc. The exterior size of the car is clearly mid-size. In fact I checked online and the new Sentra is larger than the 1993-1997 Altima! ... Read More

The next Sentra has been unveiled, both in China as the new Sylphy, and in spy photos of the actual Sentra to be sold in the U.S. By photos and accounts it appears to be a down-sized Altima--not a bad thing! It loses the "edginess" of the current Sentra but I think has a more upscale appearance, more Infiniti-like. Looks like interior and trunk room have been improved also. The key ... Read More

That seems like a good price. What's the price before taxes and fees? By July, the all-new 2013 Sentra might be out. Is that what you mean by waiting for July, or would you be looking for a close-out deal on a 2012?

Personally, I don't like the interior much...a bit low rent for me. But for someone who needs a new car with decent room for a low price, it's a good alternative and new is new, the warranty is a good thing to have. I like the old dash layout better but the seats in our hatch are far superior. The exterior is pretty modern but bland Japanese...nothing to far out here. ... Read More
