The dealer quoted on a car listed online at MSRP $20230 with $1000 rebate, so it's final listing price is $19230. They quoted $278+ tax. Is that a fair price? Any info would be appreciated.

    I dropped mine off at the dealer and left it overnight. They heard the ticking when they cranked it up the next morning (winter weather). They looked at it, and reported back to me that Nissan corporate said to expect it. My ticking is exactly as you described.

    The odometer is just 220 km. I puchased it about a month ago. From just a week ago, when the speed is between 50 km and 55 km, I can hear whistling noise. Even if I put the transmisson in neutral postion I can still hear the noise. The Nissan service person said it's normal. But I don't think so. Does some one have the same problem with me?

    It is a good car for the money. It rides smooth. It comfortable to ride in.It has some great features like a low cost Nav. Inteligent key. It has a few minor issues like the gas tank on the passenger side. Side mirrors that dont fold in. Also they dont tell you the blue tooth only works with certain cell phones. But so far I had no mechanical problems.

    The mid cycle update is out for the 2010 model year and it features slightly updated styling and some new features such as a $400 factory nav system. I'm surprised it isn't being discussed. The Sentra doesn't grab as much interest as most competing cars.
