2003 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl 6M)

Review

The car is fast for a 4 banger. It has a lot of features that are not available any other cars in its class and price range. This car can be a great daily driver, or a weekend racer.

Best Features

6spd. tranny stereo and the rims

Worst Features

all wheel drive, and some more power to set the bar higher

Review

One of the better cars I have owned. Not the best nor the fastest but I am truly amazed everyday I drive it. One major draw back is I had to buy Snow/Ice tires for it since the factory wheels are "Z" rated. Kind of costly but it is the only negative thing.

Review

The nissan sentra se-r spec v, is an easy vehicle to maintain, all you need to do is keep up the usual maintenance and the spec v will be very reliable. the spec v does have alot of torque steer but you get used to it after awhile. the suspension setup in the spec v is ready for auto x, when you toss the spec v around the corners at higher speeds the spec v feels like its right at home. when you want to pass someone on the freeway it could be done in fifth gear without any problems. where else can you find 175hp, 180ft/tq with a helical limited slip differential, 6 speed manual transmission, auto x ready suspension and a fun car to drive for less that 20 thousand dollars.

Best Features

auto x ready suspension, helical limited slip differential, 6 speed manual transmission.

Worst Features

As far a performance wise goes, I suggest better tires, lower the vehicle, AEM cold-air intake, Hotshot Header, and Nismo s-tune exhaust, and with this set up or something similar you should be good to go. and if you do not want performance then your spec v is good as it is.

Review

I have had my Spec V for a few months now and I would say that it is an excellent vehicle. Handling is great the accl. is very aggressive and fun (for anything, especially a 4 cyl.) and the vehicle seems to be put together very well. You can even feel it when you open and close the doors. Limited slip is a great feature that is tough to find in vehicles within this price range. When the secondaries open up at 5000 rpm, you can really hear it, very nice sound. I really do like this car, and I have had several different sports cars and this one is the most well rounded vehicle that I have owned. This car is so fun to drive, you will love it go ahead, buy one!!!!!!!!

Best Features

My favorite features are the 6-spd, way more than average tourque for a 4(Great horse power too!), excellent handling and traction, and the limited slip. Also the 17" wheels on the Spec look very cool I don't think I would ever change them.

Worst Features

The tourque steer is horrible on this car, but what can you expect from a front wheel drive with good power right? And as stated in several other reviews, the gas mileage is not so pretty. When you get on the vehicle (which I do more than I should) it can really eat down the gas.

Review

This is one of the most well made economy cars on the road today, with is sleek front end styling to its high spoiler this vehicle its a force to be reckoned with. I purchased this car after having an accident in my '97 BMW 328i and was forced to quickly find a cheap replacement... the anwser SE-R Spec V. This car delivers exceptional performance from quick take offs from a red lights to satisfying the urge to pass the slow driver on the interstate while in 6th gear... just give the gas a push and the car will respond well beyond your expectations. This is a great car for the $ and I would highly recomend it to anyone who likes to drive a car that will suprisingly eat a lot of others 4 lunch!

Best Features

The Rockford Fosgate sound system, six gears, front end styling (don't like the 2004's and up)oh and lets not forget the ability to leave a lot of cars in your rear view mirror!!!

Worst Features

a larger moonroof, better fuel consumption, and the sun visors are cheaply made.
