So far so good, but MPG is way off

2014 Nissan Rogue SV 4dr SUV (2.5L 4cyl CVT)
We did countless hours of researching crossovers, compared all of the models and test drove a few.
We fell in love with the Rogue after seeing the redesign and learning about all of the great standard safety features for such a reasonable price.
We are going from a Prius to this, so the promised 29-33 MPG was a big selling point. Unfortunately... I have yet to get more than 25 MPG!
(I bought the FWD version instead of the AWD to keep the MPG at the higher end... we are quite disappointed.
We are hopeful that it will improve, but so far very disappointed.)
Exterior and Interior design! I LOVE the panoramic sunroof. It's huge, bright, and very quiet.
The all-around camera is very helpful and gives me a little piece of mind. The Navigation/touch screen has been a breeze to use and is very intuitive!
Love the blue tooth-- phone calls work with ease and my ipod connects easily.
The seats are VERY comfortable, the back seats are elevated just a bit giving your passengers a little more leg room and a better view out the front window.
Deliver the MPG that you advertise. We can't help but feel deceived.
We also don't like that the radio doesn't turn off when you turn off the car... doesn't turn off all the way until you open the door to get out?!
Makes you second guess if you really turned off the engine completely.
Most people do not realize that the EPA highway test mileage loop averages only 48 mph. When is the last time anyone drove 48 mph on a real highway? The EPA only teats 15% of all cars / SUVs ... the reat simply follow their test procedures and report. So their is lots of room for variation and error.
Nissan is not "advertising" a highway MPG. They are somply reporting the results from a flawed EPA test. Complain to the Government.
