Finally have a Nissan, and it's a winner: '11 Rogue SV AWD w/SL Package. :)

2011 Nissan Rogue SV 4dr SUV AWD (2.5L 4cyl CVT)
Proud new owners of a Black Amethyst 2011 Rogue SV AWD w/ SL Pckg.
Favorite thing about it is it's beautiful color!
It has touches of black, purple and brown, looks different in all types of light and is gorgeous!
The rest of the car is great, too!
We're amazed at how much you get for the $ - it's LOADED!
IMO, it's the best looking CUV in its class, feels far more expensive than it is, it's refined, comfortable, roomy, powerful (feels more powerful than the specs suggest), feels solid, the CVT is an actually interesting affair, and it's fun-to-drive.
Have had 2 Mazda 5's that I LOVED, but have always wanted a Nissan, too, and now we have a winner w/the Rogue!
1. Color - Black Amethyst is one of the nicest colors I've ever seen on any car...ever;
Engine & Performance - It feels as powerful as a V6, builds up speed quickly & I like its guttural, masculine sound, which balances & contrasts nicely with the car's slightly feminine, but good-looking & classy styling.
Handles & brakes great!
Exerior/Interior Design - looks & feels more expensive than it is inside & out.
Love the 18" rims, tasteful chrome accents, & interior.
Seat Comfort - front seats are exceptionally comfortable & supportive.
The back seat, is surprisingly spacious & comfortable.
Amenities - comes LOADED! Favorite amenity being the awesome-sounding Bose!
Rear seat functionality - it doesn't recline, slide fore & aft or have an armrest.
Road Noise on Wet Roads - It's been mentioned before, it does sound like there is a rear window open in the car when driving in the rain/on wet roads.
Funny enough, on regular roads the car seems quiet.
But, we've noticed that music playing inside the car is clearly heard outside the car even with everything closed - could be cuz the Bose is so awesome!
More sound insulation is needed.
Better Quality Headliner - it feels cheap, like fuzzy cardboard.
Steering Feel - Though good for an electric unit, more feel would be appreciated.
