Great suggestion. Did you get the 2009? It looks like the MSRP on the XT is about the same as the base 6 cyl Rav4. The Subaru mileage isn't as good though. I'll investigate a lease and keep you posted. ...and the square cup holders is beyond idiotic. Read More...

Yes, we got a 2009 Limited PZEV, which makes 175hp. EPA says 20/26 mpg but we're getting *much* better than that, more like 22-25 around town and 27-30+ highway. Square front cup holders are very dumb but the vehicle has given me several pleasant surprises: * mileage better than expected * throttle/engine is responsive with no lag at all * LED lighting in center ... I have been comparing the 2008 Rogue SL AWD against the 2009 Forester Limited. The Forester actually has the Rogue beat on paper. Seat of the pants, though, the Rogue comes out ahead. No, that what the reason why I didn't get the Rogue for myself, my partner got it because he could careless about the Bluetooth. I thought it was stupid to lump it with the AWD also. I have a 08 Altima Coupe and love the bluetooth in the car, my feeling is, that should be a standard feature in all cars.. I'm hoping nissan bring it the redesign of the Rogue... Read More...
