Currently, I have a 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser GT Turbo that is worth ~$7,500. I owe ~$11,000 on it. I am looking to trade it in on a 2009 Rogue S that I would like to lease. Through yesterday, Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2008 Rogue SL FWD with 15,000 miles per year were .00325 and 50%, respectively. 2008 Rogue SL AWD almost 9K miles. I too have reported this xmission sound when slowing down...the 1st time they said they could not hear it. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 Nissan Rogue SL AWD with 12,000 miles per year are .00211 and 61%, respectively. The money factors that you were quoted for both of these vehicles are right in line with Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s buy rate for them. This is a good thing. Considering you could buy it on a 5 year bank loan through Nissan for 2.9% with a monthly payment of $400, I would definitely not lease it to only save $40. The general rule to know if leasing is better than buying is if you can't save over $100 per month leasing then buy it. Read More...

Hi jezmia. $250 below dealer invoice is obviously a great selling price, but the money factor that you were quoted is a little on the high side. If your credit is in good shape, Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s current buy rate lease money factor for a 2009 Murano should be .00270 for a 39 month lease. Hi, I live in the Northern Virginia area and was just quoted a lease price for a 2009 Nissan Rogue S. I was wondering if someone could let me know if it is a good deal or not? The terms are for three years and with 12,000 miles per year. They are: $1000 Down and $229.00 per month for three years.
