2008 Nissan Quest squeaks and rattles coming from sliding doors
Re: 2008 Nissan Quest squeaks and rattles coming from sliding doors [dxr]
if you think the price is great, then I think it is worth it. If the rattle noise is coming from the sliding doors, they can make adjustments to remove the rattle. Note that the sliding door design since 2007 is far better than the 2004... if the rattle noise is coming from elsewhere, I cannot advise you for I have no experience. Since they made adjustments to my sliding ... Read More...
2009 Nissan Quest SE (FULLY loaded) Likes & Dislikes
After owning my new 2009 Quest SE for 5 days, I'd like to post my likes and dislikes about it. This is mainly in comparison to the other minivans we considered purchasing. We chose the Quest because of the great deal we got (below invoice), the awesome financing at the time and because Nissan gave us $2000 move for our trade (2007 Murano) than any other dealer. Had ... Re: 2008 Nissan Quest trailer hitch [dtownfb]
Thanks for the reply. I went back to Uhaul and they insist it's the van's wiring system from the factory. I'm going to go to another Uhaul dealer and have someone else take a look at it. The link you sent me was for a 2007 Nissan. I don't know how much of a diffence that would make. I have been told from the dealer that they had problems with the 2008 quest wiring systems ... Re: 2008 Nissan Quest SE [dandydonii]
Dandy, I agree with your whole post. Nissan lacks the rep of Toyota and Honda, but they match or exceed their price. What was the 500 volume discount you were referring to? We have dealers here still with 2007s. And I don't see when they are going to clear out the 2008s with the economic progressions. It is going to be a brutal sales month for Nissan (at least the minivans). Read More...

I just bought a new Quest 3.5 S, DVD, seat package, cargo organizer+cover, railbars and more for $21,800 OTD. The dealer is Nissan at Sterling Heights, Michigan. They have great deals going on now. Let me know if you want more info. So long, Simeone Read More...

Re: 2007 Nissan Quest AC Problem [ob1]
All, It happened again.....It was in the low 90's here and all of the sudden our front AC just cut out while on a local freeway. Would not start back until I turned the ignition off and on again. Took it to the dealer and of course they could not replicate the problem. They re-charged our cooling system and all seemed well except the other day it did it again for about ... Read More...

Advice needed on purchasing a demo
I am trying to help my sister research & purchase a new Minivan. How much would you take in to consideration for a "never titled" demo depreciation? The Nissan dealer had a 2007 Quest SE demo on the lot w/ 4k miles on it. The only other options added were the Nav & entertainment systems. Edmunds TMV for this vehicle used is 30k. The dealer wanted to sell it for 35k. Is ... Read More...

Re: 04 Nissan Quest or 06 Dodge Caravan [bobbylena]
We purchased a base 2006 Dodge Caravan in Sept. 2006 with the 4 cylinder engine. With 29,000+ miles, no problems to report. Acceleration is leisurely at best. However, with the size of your family I suggest you look at a 2006 or 2007 Grand Caravan. There are lots around for under $15,000 or $16,000 with low mileage. All come with either a 3.3 or 3.8 V6. Good luck. Read More...

Re: My New 2007 Nissan Quest SE [brookwood1]
Price sounds good. You may want to check what rebates are available. Based on the price you got from the dealer, there must be. The 400 miles on the van shouldn't be too much of an issue. The problem you run into now is the dealer will give you a great price but normally only for car already on the lot. They have their end of year numbers to worry about. Read More...
