Good car but Nissan cheaps out on cross bars and CD player
By clintjohnsonnc on

2013 Nissan Pathfinder SL 4dr SUV 4WD (3.5L 6cyl CVT)

After nearly 700 miles in 10 days, I'm getting 24 mpg combined mileage and 27.5 on the highway, a little better than promised by Nissan. Pathfinder is comfortable after trading in a Ray-4 with 98,000 miles on it.

Best Features

Back-up camera, electronic means of reminding you to rotate tires, change oil, etc. Power liftgate operable from inside or outside the vehicle and by remote is great.

Worst Features

Standard cross bars on roof rails. What are roof rails without cross bars? I've waited 10 days for promised roof rails and I'll have to take a trip without them. Also, the SL should come standard with a 6-CD changer, instead of the 1-CD that it comes with. Oddly, the entry level Pathfinder comes with the 6CD changer while the more expensive one comes with the 1CD changer!
