Had our first snowstorm 12/28/12.
Put the PF in 4WD and effortlessy plowed through 18" drifts.
Stayed straight and true in 4" of snow at 50mph on the interstate.
With any wheel slip, the traction control seems to work well.
Be careful in slippery/snowy conditions.
If you are not comfortable 'spinning out' at all, put it in 4WD, it does not take much to end up pointing where you just came from.
Just for fun...Put in 2WD, turn the traction control off and the tail end swings out nicely on snowy corners...controlled oversteer :) Remember, an SUV with 4WD does not automatically exempt it's drivers from ending up in ditches.
I've seen far to many SUVs wadded into snowbanks and medians!
