I think he's referring to the link this post, which takes you off our site: jk05mdx, "Nissan Pathfinder Transmission Problems" #114, 11 Dec 2009 1:18 am
I have exactly the same problem on my 2009 UK Nissan Pathfinder 0 the electric driver's seat has a mind of its own. Did you manage to fix yours? Mine has been back to Nissan 4 times and they can't find anything wrong. Thanks.
I have a 2009 Pathfinder and it has started to do the same thing. At first my husband insisted that I must have hit the lock on the remote from inside the house. However, if I had done that - the horn would have blown and we would have noticed the LOUD noise coming from the garage. Several times I have come out to find the doors locked. A few weeks ... I finally brought my 2006 Pathfinder into the dealer after reading these posts for a few months. My truck with 70k miles started shuttering between 40-50mph. I drained about 4 quarts of transmission fluid out and it was slightly milky. I realize there's another 8 quarts and the whole flush process, but I wasn't about to do all that. Anyway, after the simple 4 quart switch, things were actually a little ... Read More

I am reading all these post and i am getting very upset with my 2005 Nissan pathfinder! I had problems with my Pathfinder in 2009 and i brought my car to the dealership and they told me that i needed to replace my transmission and radiator cuz the fluids were mixed. I was furious because this is my first brand new car I bought and paid off in 3 yrs. I ... Read More
That quote is high by 25% or so. I have in hand an invoice for that exact job (replacement of a radiator in a 2005 Pathfinder) it breaks down as follows: Labor $250.00 Radiator $389.00 Antifreeze $24.99 Discounts $-66.40 (Parts + Labor) Sub total: $597.59 Shop fees: $42.50 Sales tax: $60.81 Total cost: $700.90 I’d be happy to email you a copy for you to go show to your dealer. Hi Sprkieee. Funny that you should ask, Nissan actually did decide to reintroduce lease support on the Pathfinder last month. It's current lease program on this truck isn't as attractive as its programs were back in the good old days but it's a lot better than it was. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 Pathfinder s ... Read More
Your gut feeling may be right - the first question to ask is why so many are hitting your area so suddenly. Are they flood damaged cars? Have the titles been washed to hide that kind of problem? Does a CarFax or other history report show anything? Anything in the dealer computer maintenance records (via a VIN search). Or have they never been titled and are just leftovers that Nissan or ... From my comment on April 21st of 2009, and I quote: "So, I did not have the failed radiator issue and since my rig only has 57,200 miles on it Nissan is replacing the transmission for me at their expense under the original factory warrantee. I should note that I am the second owner on this rig, I’m glad that Nissan’s warrantees follow the vehicle and not ownership. " Guess what? ... Read More
Hey rbclaw. The Pathfinder is a fairly large SUV. In general big SUVs have terrible lease programs on them right now. If you are willing to compromise and go with a slightly smaller mid-sized SUV you should be able to find one that has a decent lease program. If not, then you definitely should consider financing instead of leasing. As you mentioned, in February you could have financed this truck through ... Read More
Hi rbclaw. Nissan is not currently providing any lease support on the 2009 Pathfinder. As a result, NMAC's lease program on it is absolutely terrible. Through March 2nd, NMAC's buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 Pathfinder LE V6 2WD with 12,000 miles per year are .00325 and 38%, respectively. Nissan is currently providing a $1,500 cash incentive on leases of the ... Read More
I want to lease a Nissan Pathfinder 2009 SE Loaded or 2009 LE loaded in Central Florida for a 36 month lease, 12k miles/yr with no money down and no trade in. I am curious how far below invoice most dealers will go right now and what the current residual value and money factors are at this time. Seems like there only a few of these SUV's at various car lots ... Read More
Hello mackerman. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s lease program for this truck vary by term and mileage allowance. You never mentioned what either of these variables are, so for now I will assume that you are interested in a 36 month lease with 15,000 miles per year. Let me know if you want something different. NMAC's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a ... Read More
Here you go, dolphin5. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 Pathfinder LE V6 4WD with 15,000 miles per year are .00023 and 41%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical lease of a 2010 model are .00107 and 45%, respectively. Nissan is running a special tent sale from now through October 18th that provides an additional ... Here you go, jsp01. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s August buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 39 month lease of a 2009 Pathfinder SE 4WD with 12,000 miles per year are .00061 and 42%, respectively. Unfortunately, Nissan is not currently providing any cash incentives on leases of this truck. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
Hi danf1222. Unfortunately, the $2,500 cash incentive that Nissan is currently providing on the 2009 Pathfinder is not compatible with its special lease program. However, through July 8th, Nissan is providing a special 4th of July bonus cash incentive that is. As a result, your calculations are off. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
Hi mattyw. A number of manufacturers...including Nissan, have dramatically cut their production levels. As a result, an inventory situation that was out of control when the economy fell off of a cliff is now much more manageable. It would not surprise me if the Pathfinder was one of the models that Nissan stopped producing for a while and as a result certain trim levels of it were relatively difficult to find. ... Read More

Yes, The 2008-2009 GPS on pathfinders is now a more advanced hard-drive based navigation system. I'm not sure as far as updates available yet.
I have a 2007 Pathfinder LE with the GPS Navigation. Is there any difference in the 2007 Navigation GPS System and the 2009 GPS Navigation System? Are there any updates and is it worth buying 2009 updates?
