Nissan Pathfinder Lease Questions

Buying Pathfinder off lease

Carman - I have a 2006 Pathfinder LE 2WD no Nav that will be coming off lease in about 2-3 months. I am under mileage slightly but there are several small dents and moderate scratches that I would have to fix ( I would think) before I turn it in. I love the vehicle and am considering buying it off lease - the residual is about $18000 but in this market I would hope to get it ... Read More...

Nissan Pathfinder Noises and Sounds

Engine chirpping/squeaking...

Hey everyone...I just bought a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder SE from CarMax yesterday. Runs great, clean, low mileage...except I noticed a squeaking (loose belt) noise coming from the engine this morning. Someone mentioned it might be the power steering for which there was also a bulletin notice on the issue. Anyone else have this issue and, if so, how did it work out. ... Read More...

Re: 2005 Pathfinder LE Defective Gas Gauge [ricardo_33172]

On my 2006 -- I did look into the Lemon law a bit. It only appllied up to XX months you owned the car, and/or up to XX miles. I think I was over it. I also wrote about my problems to Nissan North America; also gave the local dealership manager a chance (first) to respond. he did not. Nissan NA didn't care either. I actually opened a 'case' with them, and it was fruitless. ... Read More...

Re: Nissan's customer service [rabi504]

I had a similiar experience with "nissan north america" re: my 06 Pathfinder, bought in March 06. It had a serious (I considered it so, seeing as I stalled in heavy traffic x1, and on the freeway) problem with (basically) the "DTE feature not functioning properly". The gas-level-meter would say I had 1/8 tank gas, I was on my way to get gas, (twice) when the DTE flashed ... Read More...

Toyota 4Runner vs. Nissan Pathfinder

Will not by another Nissan Product

My daughter had leased the 2004 Pathfinder because she liked the first one she had when she was in college. ( 1997 Model Year ) Her 2004 lease is up and at this moment looking at another SUV. Her experience with the Pathfinder and re-acurring engine noise problems, Cd changer problem, the high service costs ....and the way she was treated by the Valley Stream, Long ... Read More...

Real World Towing with the Pathfinder

Re: Travel trailer and the 2006 Pathfinder [kipk]

The RV dealer installed both the brake controller using a Nissan specific pigtail and the 7 pin connector. This took them about 2.5 - 3 hours in labor, so it wasn't cheap at their rates. Read More...

Re: Travel trailer and the 2006 Pathfinder [wohlyzep]

Did the Nissan dealer install or supply the 7 pin connector and/or the brake controller or at least the pig tail for the controller? Thanks, Kip Read More...

Re: Travel trailer and the 2006 Pathfinder [tidester]

I just purchased a 2007 Pathfinder SE and am adding the brake controller and 7-pin connector today. I was surprised to learn it already had a transmission cooler since that wasn't indicated on the edmunds site. I will be towing a 3200-lb (dry) 26-ft. Trail-Cruiser 26QBH trailer to Bristol for the NASCAR race next week. 4 big guys, lots of beer and gear - should be ... Read More...

Nissan Pathfinder Prices Paid and Buying Experience

Re: Brand New 2005 Pathfinder LE [bluesilver]

No. If you were passing up a bargain it still wouldn't be there. I've seen 07 4runners advertised all day long for $5000 off MSRP. Should be able to work better than this with some work. Should be about the same for 07 Pathfinder. Look up your 05 LE on nada.com or kbb.com. (with 800 miles). Add a little to the wholesale price ($1500-2000) for a reasonable price for the ... Brand New 2005 Pathfinder LE

My local Nissan dealer still has a 2005 Pathfinder LE on the lot. Sticker is $35800, and they've brought it down to $31400. It has about 800 miles on it. When I ask them why they still have a 2005, they always say it's because the LE models are harder to sell than the S or SE--that most people will go up to the Armada if they want the leather package. I haven't really started ... Read More...
