2002 Nissan Pathfinder SE 4WD 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl 5M)
I tried the Explorer, Grand
Cherokee,and others (even the non-
truck SUVs,these are fine if you don't
need the capabilities of a truck). I
found the Pathfinder SE to be the best
overall value (excellent reliabilty
record was a big factor). The build is
solid and of high quality. I have had
it 3 weeks and I like it more each
time I drive it. $1000 under invoice
and 0.9 financing didn't hurt, either!
Good cargo room. Excellent engine and
powertrain. Gas mileage is 18 MPG
(back and forth to work (non-highway!)
I don't drive with a lead foot. This
is good mileage for a truck.
Comfortable and fun to drive, feels
like it is glued to the road. So far,
I am very happy with it.
More back seat room and about an inch
more front leg room.
How about an accurate fuel gauge?
With the gauge reading 1/4 tank I can
only get 13 gallons into it (this is
with a 21 gallon fuel tank).
Can something be done about the
slippery leather steering wheel?
