I've been driving this car for about a year now.
135,000 miles put on it and it still drives great!
This is just fun to drive plain and simple. It still drove even in the worst of conditions.
It is built well for it being an economy car from the early 1990s.
The T tops are AWESOME on this thing. An all around solid car from Nissan. They really don't make a car today that comes close to this thing. It seems even more fashionable now than when it first came on the market.
Other than the fact that it rusts easily and has about 135,000 miles on it, it's still a great car and I hope to keep it around for awhile longer !!
It kills it in the snow!!
Zips on the highway.
You always feel in control.
The heating and radio controls are within perfect reach.
The "digital dash" is simple, easy, and wicked at night.
The T tops make this one of the best cars to drive in the summer time. Much better than a convertible and sun roof in my opinion. They are perfect !!
it sits low to the ground. way low.
the interior really is made a bit cheap but then again...it was a car made on a budget !!
it rusts EASILY !!
it's also hard to find replacement parts since it's such a rare car and Nissan discontinued many of them.
Bought the Ttop on sight in '92 as a true sports (not muscle) car and discovered it was also a practical hatch back that let me carry almost anything up to 8 ft in length and three feet wide. MPG 30 in town driving. Speed adequate. Low engine noise in 5th gear from 35mph to XX mph. Handles great, parks great, feels great. Lots of fun. I am replacing it piece by piece. There is nothing even close now being built.
Size, cargo space, T top, styling, economy of operation and repairs.
Needed a front air dam to keep the nose down at higher speeds. (That was standard on the NX2000)
I've had my car for two years and it's
got 157,000 miles on it. I have had to
replace a lot of things with this car.
Only on the body, though...never
anything dealing with the engine. It
starts up great all the time!
Handling, stick shift, got some pep!
Runs forever!!! Great little car!
Inconvenient cup holders. Body falls
apart...especially front end.
