OMG! This is NOT a joke!! I just received my letter in the mail today. Too bad, I sold my 2003 Murano. However, I bought a 2007 and this new warranty covers ALL Murano models through 2010!! Looks like our efforts on this thread paid off after all! Read More...

I currently have a 2007 Nissan Murano SL Touring Package with NMAC and am looking to get out of my lease before the 2/10 maturity date. I have a dealer that has 2009 SL Tech/Dual Moonroof/Premium Package for 480/month with 3465 down. I currently have 4 months at 465/month left on it. Is this a good deal? 18K for a 2004 Murano is no good deal at all, CVT or no CVT issues. Back in 2007, I was considering trading loaded SL 2004, then with 28K miles, to a Mazda and a Nissan dealer. They both offered $15K on it, and that was two years ago. I don't think I could get more than $11-12 on it today. In short, anything more than $14K does not sound like a great deal. Everyone, I too have had the acceleration issue and also agree with moparman44 that it might be a heat related phenomenon. Only reason I believe that is because it seems to happen on hot days (90+ F) in traffic where there is less air flow to help cool off the engine bay. There is an eBay vendor that sells XM + iPod connection kits for 2003-2008 Murano's. I just ordered a similar kit that provides XM + Aux input. The kit is supposed to provide full XM radio control from the head unit, as well as display iPod album and song info on the Murano display. This is an internet price so if you call 888-819-4281 mention that you want the internet sales dept. If you have time you can find deals like this with a little effort.
