I love this car but a 53,000 miles driver seat is not working, the repair is more than $1,000.00; same thing happened with the power window; only 3 windows are working and I need to get the master power window, and brakes have some sound, I went to the mechanic and he told me that they are fine. So now I don't know where this sound is coming from. w
Your shields behind your rotors are rusting and pieces of rust are falling down and wedging behind the rotor and scraping...I am surprised at your mechanic for not knowing.
Screwdriver and sledge are all you need.
Wedge the screwdriver into the groove of the shield behind your rotor and hit it with the sledge.
Work from the top and go around the rotor and do the bottom last.
This will dislodge the rust and the noise will stop.
