Your shields behind your rotors are rusting and pieces of rust are falling down and wedging behind the rotor and scraping...I am surprised at your mechanic for not knowing. Screwdriver and sledge are all you need. Wedge the screwdriver into the groove of the shield behind your rotor and hit it with the sledge. Work from the top and go around the rotor and do the bottom last. This will dislodge the rust and the noise will stop. Easy fix!Report it
