2004 Nissan Murano SL AWD 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl CVT)

Review

Good looking peppy car/suv. Interior is very comfortable and everything is easy to get at. Gas mileage is nowhere near that advertised, but then again, no car ever is. The power drivers seat tends to move slightly when you re-enter the car and first sit down. The front a/c adapter is tough to plug into. There's also a front storage area under the radio that is tough to get at. You'll also forgot you put anything there. It's fun to drive, handles well and provides good visibility, except through the small rear windows.

Favorite Features

6 CD changer, tire pressure readings, ability to schedule maintenance reminders, sun roof, peppy engine gets you going on highway quickly, handles well, brakes well, good air bag system giving strong feeling of security. Power windows, side mirrors and drivers seat that have memory

Suggested Improvements

Hatchback window should open, the luggage screen flaps in the wind and is a pain to open/close. Don't like that drivers seat moves slightly when you settle into it. Figure out better gas mileage. Needs - easier way to get at a/c adpater, larger cell phone holder & glove compartment

2004 Nissan Murano SL Fwd 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl CVT)

Review

Smooth ride and very comfortable with lots of options. Love the style and handling of the Murano. Very good pickup.

Favorite Features

Plenty of room with a great bose sound system. 10 way power drivers seat with lumbar support along with adjustable foot pedals adds to the comfort.

Suggested Improvements

The CVT transmission can be slow at times, but its a minor flaw with the car and the only one.

Review

I enjoy the overall comfortability of this car. You glide right into the seats, you don't have to climb in or duck down to get in it. It's definitely my favorite choice out of all the SUV's on the market.

2004 Nissan Murano SL Fwd 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl CVT)

Review

All said and done, this SUV feels good to drive, with many nice features. I have driven many others in it's class, and this one was my favorite. I have the touring package with the works, and cafe au lait leather interior, and it's much cooler than the dark interior, especially when you live in florida!

Favorite Features

Memory seats, tollgate front windows, plenty of leg,and hip room, audio controls on steering wheel, good visability all around, great sound system, comfotable rear seating for five adults, also a nice feature is that the rear seats recline!

Suggested Improvements

Rear hatch needs interior opening switch, seat belts get in the way slightly, when folding rear seats down, windshield wipers do not lift up for easy cleaning, transmission has a slight pause in it when first accelerating, gas must be premium, and fuel economy not what I expected. 18 mpg

Favorite Features

details pop down back seats. storage style dual air is neat idea
