2012 Nissan Maxima 3.5 S 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl CVT)

Review

I Hear a knock at low speed, its one time after you start and move the car. It looks that nissan doesn't car enough to fix this issue. hoping that nissan takes this issue serious, as Maxima is nissan's flagship sedan. if the reputation is spoiled its difficult to gain it back.

Hey Rajacars. The knock you hear is the ABS activating as you gain momentum.Nothing to worry about.Cheers

What the comment above me says. The Maxima requires a minimum of 91 octane.

Try a higher octane gas.

Agree with others. The single "knock" at ~30mph first time after starting car is a completely normal thing on all modern Nissan vehicles. It is part of how the Anti Lock Brakes work and is not a defect or a result of anything being "broken". If anything it's a less than optimal design.
