Vehicle2011 Nissan Maxima 3.5 SV 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl CVT)
Reviewoverpriced piece of junk. this is by far the worst riding car ive driven or been in. you feel every bump in this car even if the road looks smooth you feel everything, and god forbid you are accelerating when you hit a bump, you better be holding on to the steering wheel with two hands as tight as you can. besides the ride its not a user friendly interior either. the position of the power windows is on the dash toward the left of the steering wheel, making it almost impossible to adjust the mirrors while driving. 36k and no memory seats or heated mirrors?! what a waste of money. horrible gas mileage
Best Featureslooks nice, good power
Worst Featuresbetter ride quality, more user friendly interior, should be able to circulate air even if a/c is off or if defroster is on

We purchased a 2011 Nissan Maxima 3.5 SV from a dealership here in Florida with 6,125 miles on it. We traded our 2011 GMC Acadia for it with some cash to boot (bought it outright) unfortunately a test drive was too brief but the car was beautiful.. the drive back home was nearly two hours and it was so late at the dealership (nearly 10:00pm) we did not get the detail (was charged for it and was supposed to go back for it along with window tint and rear view back up camera) but after the drive home, my back was killing me and the next day, I could not move. So I just shrugged it off as a late night and long day. After a couple of days, we took the car out and did some errands and I could barely get out of the car by the end of the day without my husband lifting me out. I have been down for two days and my back is killing me with pain. I had no idea that a low riding car would cause so much pain to me. I had had a back injury many years ago due to an auto accident but it has not given me any problems since all those years ago. That is until now when we bought the Maxima. It is a stunning car, but the very low ride and seating has caused me more pain than I can stand. It has been sitting in the drive ever since and I have not gotten back in it. (an expensive yard ornament) I contacted the dealership and talked with one of the salesman to asked what we could do, trade back or something??? Bare in mind it has been less than a week (5days now) and she said she would see what she could do. We paid right at $5000.00 out of our pocket plus our fully paid for 2011 GMC Acadia. We talked to other dealers trying to trade this Maxima SV and they told us we were taken to the cleaners if we traded our paid for GMC Acadia for the Maxima and gave them nearly $5000.00 cash on top of that because they say our Maxima is worth about $21000.00 on the trade of another 2011 GMC Acadia and we would have to pay out another $5000.00 to trade back to what we had????? The price on the Maxima was nearly $28000.00 I had no idea that the low riding seats would cause me so much pain to the point that I cannot ride or drive the vehicle. But that is my case. I only hope the dealership will let us trade back and not hold all of our money out of pocket. I can see $$ per mile driven as in a rental car but out of nearly $5000.00 cash $585.00 was dealer fee (clean up we did not get because it was nearly 10:00 pm when we finally got paperwork done and we live 2 hours away), less than $500.00 was taxes, title work and paper fees (that we understand not getting back), but the rest (and we have never gotten the window tint and rear view back up camera yet either (that was agreed on when we signed paperwork) they told us via phone that they would send us a check for $700.00 (which we were told was the cost of the rear view back up camera) but window tint and dealer prep (aka clean up detail vehicle) Ours was just professionally detailed before we traded it. I am not trying to pick the dealership apart. The sales woman was great and the nicest woman you could meet and the sales manager was a nice guy and he had to leave before we finished. We are just hoping to get out of this with our SUV back and some of our money and be rid of this pain in my back (seriously) it is a beautiful car, very sharp... but the ride is not for me, I will spend more money on doctors than the car is worth. So I don't want a car that I cannot drive or ride in. It is unfortunate that I had no idea of the discomfort the ride would bring me and the pain. This is a younger person's car who is more fit, than a grandmother who can only look at the car.... Too rough for meReport it
