    I have a vibration problem with my 2009 Maxima too. The seat shakes, but it is the vibration in the steering wheel that drives me crazy. I've had the tires rotated, balanced, and aligned. I also had them check my rims to make sure they weren't bent. Nothing has fixed the problem.     Mine does to and its a 2010. The 2009-2011 all have shaking front passenger seats. I can't for the life of me believe you would waste your time suing over a shaking seat. While its a poor representation on Nissan's part, its definitely something that does not affect the drivability or safety of the car. The airbags and seat belts still work for God sake.     Stay away from the Maxima -- the 04-06 auto transmission will give you problems sooner or later and also the 04-08 engine's timing chain tensioners have a crappy design so both of those are costly repairs (check out forums.maxima.org and look around there) -- look for clean 02-03's they should be less problematic or an 07+ I had a 95 Maxima for my first car (my dad bought it in 2003) ...     I don't believe their is away to deactivate that safety feature. If you think Nissan/Infiniti's system locks you out, you should see the one in Toyota/Lexus. As soon as the car is in motion, you get locked out of every single feature or things to do.     If you have a 2009, then the service engine soon light is a common problem on that model year. I know a couple of guys on Maxima.com who went through hell trying to fix it. Some had it related to the gas cap and needed to replace that 3 times before the light stopped coming on! Go figure

    You can set a destination while driving. You just need to use the voice recognition system. Hit the voice recognition button - the system gives you the choices (if set in the standard mode).     I'm having the exact same issue, but the dealer can't seem to find a way to duplicate the problem with the car sitting in their garage, so they won't replace the gas cap. How did your dealer actual PROVE that the gas cap is faulty, which is what Nissan is requiring them to do for it to be covered under warranty?????

    I am sure it was the salesman. I knew more about the car than the 4 salespeople that I went through at my dealership. I don't think they train the salespeople at all. Nissan needs to step up on their customer service levels. Love the car, not real excited about the company from a customer service standpoint.

    Something to keep in mind is that the basic warranty on the Maxima is only 36 months. That means if anything that's not covered by the drivetrain warranty breaks the last 3 months of your lease, you'll be responsible for paying for it.
