2007 Nissan Maxima Sedan 3.5 SL 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl CVT)

Review

Best value for the money. The CVT is great, drives like a dream with no shifting jerks.

Best Features

CVT, bluetooth, memory settings, heated steering & seats, Bose stereo, size, price.

Worst Features

Allow driver to change settings such as headlight off delay, headlight sensitivity, speed sensitive wiper interval, etc. Increase fuel economy.

2007 Nissan Maxima Sedan 3.5 SE 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl CVT)

Review

Have recently purchased the 2007 Maxima SE. Before that had a 2005 Altima SE. The Maxima offers great features with a smooth transmission (CVT). Very comfortable car to drive as I put on a lot of KM per year. Nice finishing touches inside Maxima logo inside evry door chrome acents. Drove a few luxury sedans G35 TL and pricing and options on the Maxima SE matched others and own 2 other Nissans 1986 300ZX turbo (my fun summer car) and 2005 Xterra.

Best Features

Blue tooth, dual climate control, heated steering wheel, CVT, back up sensors, dual exhuast, fold in mirrors, Bose stereo.

Worst Features

Fuel economy not as good as the 2005 Altima but engine still breaking in. Turning radius

2007 Nissan Maxima Sedan 3.5 SL 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl CVT)

Review

This is my first Maxima I have always been a fan of the Maxima. I have had the car for a year now and have put 6,500 miles on it and it has been a pleasure to drive. I have had a few rattle problems which have been fixed and belt trim the chrome pieces on the roof have been replaced twice due to fading.

Best Features

Bluetooth, CVT and the keyless entry.

Worst Features

Improve the fuel economy.

2007 Nissan Maxima Sedan 3.5 SE 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl CVT)

Review

Took 3 tries to get SES (check engine light) to stay off (bad evaporative purge solenoid?). The driver's seat pops/clicks when turning left, the driver's door has an intermittent rattle, the steering wheel shimmys when stopping hard and fast (front rotors?), a fastener is missing from the plastic motor undertray, and the rear engine mount creaks when starting out (had it up on a lift when trailer hitch was installed - found the creak location with a stethoscope). Mileage markedly worse than '03 I traded in. CVT has not won me over yet. Back to the dealer again today. Lastly, incredibly cheesy and cheap feeling door handles. Yikes!

Best Features

Bose, Bluetooth, dash, huge trunk.

Worst Features

Fix abysmal quality! Ditch the CVT for a good 5 or 6 speed automatic

Really love this car. I looked and drove many models and for the money this is the best. Top features, room, style that can't be beat.

Best Features

The ride, just feels solid.

Worst Features

Better gas mileage.
