I bought it new before heading off to
college. Special ordered the 5spd.
Still blows the doors off so
called "muscle cars" even with it's
conserative apperance. I hate the
cupholders; they interfere with
shifting. It has gotten me through
blizzards and hurricanes with complete
confidence. Reliable is an
understaement. My mileage is
exceptionally low and the paint has
been professionally restored after a
snow shovel oppsy. I'm passing it on
to my little brother who is starting
at Villanova, as I move on to a CLK
Cabriolet. If it wasn't going to my
brother I wouldn't part with it.
Beauty, power, handling, reliability,
style and BALLS!

24valve Microfinish V6 with dual

Plain Great car. I am on my Second
Maxima with 150,000 Miles going strong
i am Aiming for 250,000. I Am keeping
this car forever it will be completely
restored 20 years from now. -NOTHING
WILL MAKE A DRIVER FAITHFULL TO A CAR
LIKE A CAR THAT'S FAITHFULL TO IT'S
Versatile, Fun, Fast.
The Bose system works great whjen it
does but it has problems over time
Love my Maxima! This was the first
maxima I had ever driven. After the
test drive, I was convinced. The 3.0 L
V6 is phenomenal! So smooth, and so
torquey! With the manual tranny, this
car is a blast to drive. I felt the
suspension is a bit soft and allowed too
much body roll, so when my struts went
94k miles, I went with aftermarket
struts/springs, and now it handles like
a dream. Really fun car with plenty of
room for the family!
That outstanding motor!!! Manual tranny
with a V6. Room for the family without
having to drive a full size American
car, or minivan.
Should have produced more of them with
the 5-spd transmissions. They're hard
to find used. Cupholders are poorly
designed. Taillights are ugly. Later
years are slightly better looking, in my
