  • Brake Light Issue -- Nissan Frontier

I bought a 2008 Nissan Frontier with crew cab. All was well until about 8 months ago when fuse for brake lights kept blowing. No problem with bulbs. When fuse blows cruise control doesn't work. Now fuse blows the instant you tap the brakes and had to run a temporary auxiliary wire to brakes. Has been at Nissan dealer now for three days and they don't seem to have a clue. ... Read More

  • Fuel Gauge (Sending Unit) Recall

Written by: asa on Mar 13, 2010 8:02:34 AM

The problem is Nissan's fuel sending units (FSUs) in the fuel tank which causes an inaccurate gauge reading. The recall affects Frontiers, Pathfinder and Xterras produced from January to March 2006 and October 2007 to January 2008. Nissan will be sending letters to owners in late March 2010 I have read. It's clear the FSU problem affects many vehicles outside of these dates, so I'm not sure what Nissan is thinking. ... Read More

The best 1 equipped (the 1 we bought) had for some reason noticiably less accereration (felt similiar to when the mixture is off, or similiar).
