2007 Nissan Frontier SE 4dr Crew Cab 5.0 ft. SB (4.0L 6cyl 6M)
Bought my son a Frontier. Replacing the clutch at 35,000 miles this week. This is not what I expected at 35,00 miles. My toyota pickup clutch was replaced at 260,000 miles. I guess you get what you pay for.
A lot of power and fun to drive. Nice body style (4 door crew cab).
Was the clutch problem truck related or poor driving skills and bad habits.
To me that is like saying the brakes always need changed after 15000 miles.
Those items depend on good driving techniques to last a long time.
Hard stop and go will ruin brakes and riding the clutch instead of good smooth shifting should not be held against the truck, model, or its maker.
I also just read the "Favorite Features"
listed as "Fun to Drive"
which makes me believe it is driving skill and practices that are going through clutches and not truck malfunction.
