The 05 Frontier is the replacement for a 91 Nissan pick up that I have driven since new. Needless to say, there's a HUGE change here. The physical size of the truck is about the same size as the Dodge Dakota. The power is great for the size of the vehicle and it pulls a trailer like there's nothing back there. The suspension is a little stiff as you would expect from the off road package. I would like a little better gas milage, but i get about 16.6 avg. which isn't terrible. Interior is roomey, but some tall (6'-4") people aren't going to be comfortable. Build quality so far has been nearly flawless. I had to have the spring on the gas tank door re-set, but that's the only prob so far.
The fabric has a sturdy feel to it as one would expect in an off road vehicle. The 6 CD changer plays MP3 cd's so you can drive for days without changing CD's. The utility bed is a nice option and the tie downs have been very convieniant. I thought the first aid kit was silly until i needed it.
A little more padding on the door panels. Better protection in front of the rear wheels from rocks being kicked up by the front tires (the taped off area isn't large enough, maybe a sprayed coat of some kind would be better).
