Excellent ride for a truck. The Stabizer bar makes it handle better. ABS feature is excellent, it has helped me avoid a couple of accidents! Hansome both in and out! It's the same reliable engine I expect from Nissan. Also, the XE has a reasonable price and has all the BASIC features one needs. It's great for hauling all kinds of heavier or bulky items, yet great for daily commutes. Although the 4 cylinder could use more power/torque, most of the time I do not need 6 cylinder power/fuel consumption on a daily basis--especially with gas prices increasing every moment! Overall: Thumbs Up!
Favorite Features
Comfortable Cloth Seats, CD Player, Sliding Glass Window, tinted windows, center Console with extra Accesory plug that stays on with the ignition off--great for charging cell phones), The Back Tail Door Locks(prevents it from being stolen), nice rims, and engine parts easier to get to.
Suggested Improvements
Like most trucks and coupes, I would like to see side moldings(to prevent door dings), and paint that's more scratch resistant.

2004 Nissan Frontier 4dr Crew Cab XE-V6 Rwd SB (3.3L 6cyl 4A)
Review
it's fun to drive and sits high like a 4wd but it's not, standard mudflaps, comfortable, plenty of power for a 3.3 engine, designed wheel wells, but the front of vehicle looks like a bug or something because it looks like it has eyes with the two round marker lights, plenty of room in the short bed crew cab with it's extender, and the room in back is ok not big but not to small.
Favorite Features
4 doors definitly with a family of 4 it's great because it's not a full size p.u. with a v8 engine and it does good on gas.
Suggested Improvements
front design, other than that it needs no improvements.

Favorite Features
size and hauling ability.
Suggested Improvements
little more standar luxury--like flaps on the back of sits to hold papers and mapes. should have cruise with automatic as a pretty much starard thing.
Thanks Nissan!

Review
My 2003 XE-V6 Kingcab 4x4 Frontier has 22,350 miles on it now,and I've used it for hauling, towing, commuting, and 4-wheeling. It has yet to let me down. Gas mileage averages about 19.5 mpg with 31 inch tires and about 18.5 avg with stock 30" tires, which I am very happy with. Don't be supprised that this truck doesn't ride like a Caddy, or have the frills that come with a luxury vehicle. The Frontier is the old hardbody Nissan truck with a beefed up drivetrain and new visually appealing design. I have only been back to the dealer for 2 very minor problems. To date I have NO regrets & don't expect any either!
Favorite Features
This truck has awesome torque through- out the rpm range. One great thing about this truck is that you can put 32" tires on the factory rims with no modifications, except removing the mud flaps.
Suggested Improvements
Suggested Improvement include: engine compartment light, glove box light, put gas cap on drivers side, make Limited-Slip-Differential standard in all models, wish a standard toolbox would fit in the bed, but rear tire fender-wells are too close to the cab.

Horrible compared to the domestic trucks. 4 cyl. is loud rough and couldn't get out of it's own way. Interior is extremly cheaply designed and I wonder what the reviewers were on when they drove it. The V6 is only slightly better but still loud and rough and not for anyone who expects a decent riding truck with acceptable drivetrain.

New engines, improve low quality dash and cheap accessory controls. How about some noise deadening insulation.
