I have no experience with other navigation systems, but am pleased with the Armada system. The display is easy to see and has touch screen and voice commands. We first used it on a trip from Oklahoma to Florida and it worked great. I have not seen a need to update the software. I just purchased a silver 2008 Armada LE 4X2. It has the technology package, premium package, floor/cargo mats, cargo tray, and cargo net. The out the door price with tax and license was $40,443. Take a look at the 2008 Consumer Reports Buying Guide and you will see a huge improvement in the frequency of repair history for the '06 Armada versus the two earlier years. Granted in '06 there was still lots of room for improvement, but if you read the posts here from owners of '07's and '08's there seems to be a clear trend towards improvement. CR has continued to ... I just saw your listing. I feel for you I own a 2005 Armada with the same problems. I wrote letters upon letters, complained about the brakes, the dealer could frankly give a crap about us owners. Thanks for the info. So far the best price that I have found was $1892 for "0" deductible and $1625.00 for the $50.00 deductible 84 month/70,000 miles on the Gold Preferred protection package. This is for a 2008 Armada SE 4x4. I'm hoping other's will post what they paid too, I'd like to purchase the plan soon, but would like to get the best price possible for it. Read More...
