Pros and cons
Vehicle
2006 Nissan Armada LE 4dr SUV (5.6L 8cyl 5A)
Review
Love the look and room of this car. We have 22" rimes and tires makes for a rough ride but looks so good. Very roomy we fit 7 adults and infant seat comfortable with bags and a stroller. I wish the AC was better in the front it is terrible! Overall we love this car and would probably purchase another if the fuel was better.
Favorite Features
Pros..lots of room, looks good, fast, love bacl up sensors.
Suggested Improvements
Cons....AC is terrible in the front, seats squeak, lights should be in the steering wheel, gas mileage isn't good but what can you expect with an SUV.
The armada le rocks

Review
I love driving the armada...You'll be going 80 and have no idea! I feel safe and I always catch people looking at me in it. We have the LE version with many bells and whistles and they work great. We thankfully haven't been in the shop much at all. The brakes wear out too quickly even though they fixed the 2005 model issue..my husband says Im hard on the brakes. 1 thing major went wrong & it took 3 different shops to figure it out FUEL SENSOR was off & I kept running out of gas even though gauge said it wasn't empty, thankfully under warranty.
Favorite Features
Liftgate, having a navigation system in teh car but the nav could be much better, dvd player, tons of storage and cup holders, chrome exterior, heated seats
Suggested Improvements
touch screen nav or a better more responsive nav system, larger brakes, vibration/rattle that sets in likely because of cheaper plastic interior, light up steering wheel, heated second row seats, dual dvd's, upgrade on wheels..of course better fuel economy

No Regrets!
Vehicle
2006 Nissan Armada SE 4dr SUV 4WD (5.6L 8cyl 5A)
Review
Enjoy it so much that I probably will buy it again once it's time for a new car. It feels like a big workhorse to drive, but it is a big vehicle. Pulls boats like they are not even there. Fuel economy is not great, but comparable to other similar SUV's. Flawless dependability. I've had mine for 2-1/2 years without any maintenance issues... none.
Favorite Features
No shortage of power and room. The rear seats can sit two adults and one kid comfortably which I find amazing. Great design, inside and out. The automatic rear gate is a huge convenience although I didn't think I'd use it.
Suggested Improvements
Sound system could be improved along with the reliability of the CD player, it holds my CD's hostage occasionally. The tire pressure alarm light stays on while it's cold, and I live in northern Alberta so it's on the majority of the year!

Great truck overall
Vehicle
2006 Nissan Armada LE 4dr SUV 4WD (5.6L 8cyl 5A)
Review
Rides great, has plenty of power. I pulled a 60 Cadillac with this rig from TN to NJ, figure 7500 lbs with the trailer and she would cruise no problem doing 75 mph. Also, using your high beams and horn it's very easy to intimidate other drivers including 18 wheelers. Couple issues with quality control/reliability. Factory radio dies after the 50k warranty was up and was a $500 repair. In addition, the driver door weatherstrip and the trunk weatherstrip are falling apart and the vehicle is only 3 years old.
Favorite Features
plenty of horsepower, truck has an aggressive unique look.
Suggested Improvements
Better quality control on out sourced components. Stereo and weather stripping should not be falling apart during the first 3 years.

36000 mile ownership experience
Vehicle
2006 Nissan Armada SE 4dr SUV 4WD (5.6L 8cyl 5A)
Review
Interior room is excellent. Engine handles all loads, tows boat like it's not even there. Great comfort for trips. Design/functionality issues - seat belt retraction system barely works, constantly asking passengers to make sure belts/buckles are not slammed in doors. Steering wheel controls need lighting. Seat belt latch, front seats are way down between seat and console under armrests, difficult to buckle. Stereo is poor for a $38k vehicle! Quality issues - hatch window leaking, replaced. Power mirrors stopped working, replaced twice. Front seat came unstitched 6k mi., replaced. Front windows rattle, could not solve! Exhaust replaced 35k, rotted out. Air leaks front windows, new gaskets.
Favorite Features
Engine, interior space, towing capabilities, comfort for long trips, exterior design, quiet ride, stable ride.
Suggested Improvements
Redesign seat belt system so they retract. Add back lighting to steering wheel controls, install a higher end stereo in a vehicle of this purchase price, motorize rear windows, relocate front seat belt buckle or manufacture the console with a recess so you can get to the buckle.

Love this suv

2006 Nissan Armada LE 4dr SUV (5.6L 8cyl 5A)
Review
Love this suv. Love the rear camera which has saved me. We have had no problems. I like that the lift gate in the back can open automatically which helps a lot with new baby and groceries. Love the fact that the 3rd row seats fold down flat. There is so much room. Love the gear shift in the middle instead of on the steering wheel. Feel the my family is very safe with the curtain side airbags. Love the stereo/6dsic cd changer. It drives well and has great pick up. It's a bit of a bumpy ride on these pot holed roads we have, but I didn't buy a luxury car! I wish big SUVs got better gas mileage but it is the price I have to pay for more room inside!
Favorite Features
lift gate, 3rd row seat fold down flat, very roomy
Suggested Improvements
none

Would Buy Another!
Vehicle
2006 Nissan Armada SE 4dr SUV (5.6L 8cyl 5A)
Review
We are very happy with our Armada and in fact are thinking of buying another when this lease is up. We also tested the Toyota Sequoia, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade at the time of purchase -- the Armada was best due to styling, comfort, interior/exterior amenities, and most important, the ease of changing the seat configuration! Car has performed great, gas mileage is not super but acceptable compared to other similar-sized SUVs, and I would (and do) recommend the car to others in the market for a larger SUV.
Favorite Features
Seat configuration, automatic lift gate, back-up camera, GPS, display config.
Suggested Improvements
DVD moved to another location other than center storage unit (difficult to change disks for kids while moving or if you stow much stuff).

At last a reliable, big SUV
Vehicle
2006 Nissan Armada SE 4dr SUV 4WD (5.6L 8cyl 5A)
Review
Great reliability. Owned Fords for years, but gave up on them due to customer service/reliablity issues. Couldn't be happier with my choice. This rig is bombproof, tows my trailer like it's not there, good off-road capability. It just works!!
Favorite Features
This rig feels solid on and off the road. I like the sense of power that is at my command as I accerlate. The 5 speed transmission is smooth shifting, and the manual selector very helpful in controlling speeds without burning up the brakes in hilly conditions

We have loved our Armada and had no problems. I like that the lift gate in the back can open automatically and it has fold down seats. There is plenty of room for our large family of 5. Suggested Improvements
Better gas mileage. Smoother ride.

Great Family SUV
Vehicle
2006 Nissan Armada SE 4dr SUV 4WD (5.6L 8cyl 5A)
Review
We purchased our Armada for traveling long distances and off-road. Its been one of the best and most comfortable vehicles I have ever owned. We travel from ATL to Denver about 3 times a year and from ATL to Houston TX about 2 times a year and I have had no problems, except for the radio went out at 18K miles. No problems to speak of since. Off-road this is a larger and it has never been stuck. I am one that wants to use the 4X4 aspect of this vehicle so do not think it has not been put to the test. The only thing I would change is the fact the paint gets scratched when rubbing against trees. All in all I think this vehicle suits our family needs to a tee.
Favorite Features
As far as features. I like the build quality. Its a tough truck. Towing is a snap with the tow package. Off-road is a dream. Its like 4 wheeling from the comfort of the recliner. Third seat is nice for company in town due to having 2 children. Back up sensors are very nice to have.
Suggested Improvements
I chose to put DVD screens in the head rests, which would be nice to have had from the factory. That's about it for cons.
