2005 Nissan Armada SUV SE 4WD 4dr SUV (5.6L 8cyl 5A)

Review

I was advised not to purchase this vehicle, but bought one anyway. Big mistake. Has been back to dealership six times for repair. Brakes twice, both front windows, door latches, defective tire, and lots of rattles! Definitely doesn't like cold weather. Also, very dissapointed in Nissan, as they are not willing to stand behind their product. Only good thing is the look and the loads of room inside.

Favorite Features

Adjustable pedals, backup sensor and size

Suggested Improvements

Very cheap looking interior and very hard to clean. Seatbelt latches very hard to manuever around the armrest. Smoother working windows.

2005 Nissan Armada SUV LE 4WD 4dr SUV (5.6L 8cyl 5A)

Review

Had to trade my Nissan in after only 3 months. The rattles drove me about insane. Live in the cold country and it depended on the weather which rattle would occur. When I traded it in, had to tell dealer that the rotors were going. Had the 4x4 light go on with out any reason then go off. Dealer said that computer didn't show the light going off. NOT IMPRESSED. Bought a Denali can't even compare the two.

Favorite Features

Inside design was great for family

Suggested Improvements

Nissan to spend more time on the product before releasing it to the public

2005 Nissan Armada SUV SE 4WD 4dr SUV (5.6L 8cyl 5A)

Review

The Armada has made a much comfortable ride for my family. It allows my growing boys plenty of room and space from one another while being able to cargo the groceries for a family of 6. The pricing of the Armada is affordable while the style is elegant. Nissan is a reliable name and doesn't get the credit it deserves, however, for me and my family we feel fortunate to own a nice vehicle and not have it cost as much as our house.

Favorite Features

Interior spacing and controls - makes it so convenient and comfortable for the family. Exterior - elegantly designed, protecting because of the size yet still allows a car driver the comfort of not being overwelmed of the size while driving.

Suggested Improvements

The gas tank. Even with today's gas prices, I think the gas tank could be bigger in lieu of the lower mpg you receive with this size SUV. It seems more expensive to fuel due to the more frequent gas station stops.

Review

Great Family Vehicle, everyone fits + more. Meets all of my needs, MPG is about 16-17mpg. But, it's a full size SUV

Favorite Features

Style, is good, headroom, leg room, drives great!

Suggested Improvements

Better standard sound system, tow package should be standard, more trunk space. Nissan Chrome wheel option.

Review

A Nissan Failure. Very poor in quality, poor braking system. Rotors are too small and warp between 3k-4k. Sunroof leaks and rattles. Rattle sounds through out entire truck. Poor radio reception and navigation system will not work in cold weather until vehicle reaches warm temperatures. Also though your wheel alignment may be fine the steering wheel itself becomes off centered. My Armada has been in the shop for all of the above problems 16 times in the first full year. Not where a new vehicle $40K+ belongs unless it's a Lemon, the Armada is a lemon. The truck has already lost $20K in trade-in value. Thats a big hit just to get out of this and in to something more reliable.

Favorite Features

Power, Power, Power! Handles well and great Bose system. Navigation System is wonderful.

Suggested Improvements

Brake fix are a must, Nissan should consider it a safety hazard. Quality of this truck needs to be better, especially for the price.
