2004 Nissan Armada SUV LE 4WD 4dr SUV (5.6L 8cyl 5A)

Review

WHAT A GREAT VEHICLE I LOVE IT! IT HAS GUTS AND DRIVES DOWN THE ROAD LIKE A DREAM. I CAN TOW MY BOAT AND IT STILL HAS POWER TO MAKE IT UP THE HILLS. GREAT JOB NISSAN YOU GOT ME. GAS MILEAGE IS NOTHING TO WRITE HOME ABOUT BUT I DIDN'T BUY IT FOR ECONOMY REASONS. BEFORE YOU BUY YOU SHOULD AT LEAST DRIVE ONE.

Favorite Features

I LOVE THE POWER TAILGATE IT IS VERY NICE AND THE FOLD DOWN THIRD ROW THAT ADULTS CAN EVEN FIT IN ARE VERY NICE AS WELL.

Suggested Improvements

THE LEATHER INTERIOR COULD BE A LITTLE NICER FOR THE MONEY.

2004 Nissan Armada SUV SE 4WD 4dr SUV (5.6L 8cyl 5A)

Review

I decided on the Armada after driving the Tahoe and the Expedition. I even had put a deposit down on the Tahoe and got it back and went with the Nissan. I like the 5-speed auto compared to the 4-speed. The gated shifter on the floor is great as well. The power is great, the styling unique, the interior room is 2nd to none in the class. The towing capacity is great as well. The Armada is everything you could want in an SUV.

Favorite Features

POWER, Vehicle Dynamic Control Interior Space confortable cloth seats with manual Lumbar support(GREAT DRIVING POSITIONS) Styling(definately different than the Competition) Driving position Handling POWER OPERATED PEDALS

Suggested Improvements

Power operated side view mirrors like the Tahoe has. Sunroof option without the need for all the other options.

2004 Nissan Armada SUV SE Rwd 4dr SUV (5.6L 8cyl 5A)

Review

Having owned several Suburbans and Expediton we have to say that this is the BEST SUV we have Driven and it is MADE in the USA. Body Style looks RUGGED to go with the vehicle capability. Handling is awesome and takes some getting used to. Not that it lacks, but very much more responsive. Fuel economy is what's expected for an SUV 17.2 (3 Kids and All gear for week in Mountains) Highway 15-16 City. Seating is outstanding. Ease of entry to third row seating is exceptional compared to the others. Cargo area is a bit larger than Expedition but smaller than Suburban. However Storage for everything else Cups, Glasses, Games, etc.is Outstanding.

Favorite Features

Controls for Radio,CD,Cruise. You don't even have to think about setting them, it comes naturally. Second Row Leg Room outstanding and Accessing Third Row seating a Snap. Power outstanding for Merging/Passing. Also Towing 2K lbs more than Sububan & a Tow/Haul Mode that works.

Suggested Improvements

Door handles feel cheap and flimsy. Gas tank seems overly exposed and we plan to add Skid Plate that is offered for Off-Road Models only.

2004 Nissan Armada SUV LE 4WD 4dr SUV (5.6L 8cyl 5A)

Review

Nissan could have done a better job of marketing this vehichle. All of the Armada's competition has some sort of financing incentive, it is hard to justify spending the amount of money on this vehicle when you could get a yukon with zero percent financing and similar equipment. The main reasons I bought the Armada over the Yukon; First reason was the safety features that it has over the yukon. The roll over protection is a big deal that none of the competition offers. Second; fold flat third row seating, there is way too much wasted space in the yukon and it is near impossible to get into the third row. Finally engine and transmission.

Favorite Features

engine and transmission, ease of entry into third row, fold flat seating.

Suggested Improvements

Gripes, only a few. First the passenger seat isn't as comfortable as the driver's seat. Interior isn't quite what I would expect of a $45,000 vehicle. Exterior styling is a little different, but it is nice so see something that looks different than everything else.

Review

The Nissan Armada is our second experience into the SUV market. It is fun to drive, handles well and is an eye catcher from other SUV drivers. The Armada does not have the clumsy feel that our last SUV had and corners better than the Yukon and Expedition we test drove. For the money, you get more quality and more room than the Armada's domestic competition.

Favorite Features

We like the memory seating and the power lift on the rear hatch. The heated seats have been a surprizing option that we have used often.

Suggested Improvements

There is a blind spot for the driver just forward to the passenger seat which makes turning corners alittle unnerving, especially if you are not quite use to the size of the Armada. The gas mileage is also an area which could be improved upon.

Review

Have owned Tahoes,Suburbans and a Sequoia. The Armada is an improvment. It has nice power but the trans shifting is vague. Ride and handeling are above avg. for something this big. Interior is comfortable enough but has lots of plastic. Bring your Exxon card, its thirsty, 13 1/2mpg. Great storage and cup holders. I wish Bridgestone had Revo tires this size.

Favorite Features

Good power and towing. Lots of room. Handels good for a big truck.

Suggested Improvements

Gas mileage, gas mileage. Interior appointments. No trip or mileage computer.
