2013 Nissan Altima 2.5 S 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl CVT)
Review
I got a 2.5S for my daughter. We test drove a few other cars and the Altima was the most expensive of the ones we tested. The interior is nice but not exciting. The 2.5S is not a luxury car and it doesn't feel like one.
Everything about the car is pretty much just "good" and driving it is not particularly fun or exciting. However, the exterior is very attractive and makes the difference. The exterior turns a dull family car into something worth buying.
Favorite Features
Styling, keyless entry and ignition, CVT, did I mention styling? I'm also happy that it didn't come with XM satellite radio. Bluetooth audio is just fine for the iPhone generation.
Suggested Improvements
Put some real wheels on the S and make HomeLink standard on all models.
Exciting? Why would that word be included in your midsize altima, camry, accord, sonata shopping extravaganza?
These cars are not really built for excitement but are built for practicality and reliable transport. You might have been shopping for the wrong car. Corvette, camaro, mustang, challeger may be more exciting for this buyer.
