Re: 2009 Altima Lease (Deal or No Deal?) [choochootrain]
one thing I forgot to mention is be very careful with nissan; I was at a dealership a few weeks ago looking at the max and altima and the salesman was very pushy on a 39 month lease and saying that would give us the best deal but I told him no because that would be 3 months longer then the warranty period and when I told him that he said oh you have nothing to worry about; nissan ... Re: 2009 Altima Lease (Deal or No Deal?) [choochootrain]
I guess it depends on where you live but the destination fee where I live is usually included in the price on the window sticker; sounds like they are using that as an excuse to get money down from you but since I don't know the specifics I can't say for certain; one thing I can say is that 42 months is a no-no on a lease with nissan; you never lease longer than the warranty ... Re: 2009 Altima 2.5 S Lease question [worleygirl]
Hi worleygirl. Let's work up a lease payment on the car that you're interested in and see what we come up with. According to my calculations, if you were to lease a 2009 Nissan Altima 2.5 S Sedan that has an automatic transmission, an MSRP of $26,350 and a selling price of $24,700 (dealer invoice...which should be very possible given the dealer cash incentives that ... college graduate rebate
I bought a 2009 Altima from Stevens Creek Nissan in San Jose about two weeks ago and the dealership told me that the $500 rebate for college grads will sent in mail. Is that how you guys received it or was it applied at the time of purchase? I am having thoughts that I may not actually get that money after all. Thanks in advance for your response! Read More...
Re: Oil change [zhshqzyc]
I have always followed the manufacturer service guide which has provided me with reliability, good gas mileage and a car that lasts for many years. I bought my 2009 Nissan Altima and yesterday had my first 3-month oil change. The mileage was only 2686. The service manual states 3750 miles or 3 months. I am following the service manual on my new car to the tee. It may ... Read More...

Nissan Altima Engine Rattle
Hi, To answer your question, there is no fix for this problem, it has to do with a bad engine casting. I bought an 09 Altima in October 2009 and when it reached 4,000kms it started making a knocking noise on cold mornings. The noise got to be so bad during the winter that the car sounded like it had a diesel engine. I tried changing the oil to synthetic, adding additives, ... Read More...
