    This is quite common for Nissan and, seemingly why an extended warranty is needed. You mention Chrysler but, I've noted per consumer reports that they aren't among the most reliable nor do they have very good re-sale value. Honda/Acura,Toyota/Lexus,Subaru seem the way of the future!

    Find a good local mechanic and take it in for service. New tires and recharging the AC may solve two of the problems. You may want them to check with die for a freon leak in the AC system. Other problems will need someone to look at. Can be a number of possibilities. Ken

    All VW's currently made are good looking, even their new minivan. The passat is a great looking, sporty, and semi-reliable sedan. The interior on a loaded Passat is nicer then the base 528i. I drive a 2005 Audi A6, and no auto-maker comes close to the quality of the interior of an Audi.

    IMO, it seems as though nissan kept the overall dash style of the current altima but with the quality of the 2005-2006 altimas. Overall, its a good interior.     Quick update: I have now had the Altima for 4 months. No problems, no rattles, tight as a drum, excellent transmission and throttle response. It is still a blast to drive. So far Nissan quality control far and away beats the 2005 Avalon it replaced. Way to go Nissan, Toyota you are now getting the bad press you deserve.
