I've owned 2 Nissans. A 1991 300 ZX and a 1996 Maxima. They were both extremely reliable. Just the normal wear and tear stuff like breaks and tires. I recently test drove the Camry and the Altima. Management determines the success of any business. Don't matter what is said, responsible/successful management always pokes its head in every aspect of its business, whether it is supply chain/engineering for cost containment, finance, etc. I am not saying that all Nissan cars are bad. I prefer Hyundai Sonata. Here's the reason: I have owned 2000 Nissan Altima GXE 2.4 since 2004(I bought used one). Its advantage is on its powerful engine. Great acceleration. Good window angle. Easy drive. I felt Camry is harder to drive. Huge disadvantage is on its maintenance. Fristly, my Altima had serious rough idle. Most of mechanics couldn't find the ... Read More...

I glad I could be of some help. I wouldn't worry about "down the road". Nissan build a very high quality car, that is very reliable. shocks, tires and struts are usualy just a wear and tear thing, most cars need them eventualy. Amazingly, the problem is fixed. I pressured my mechanic (not Nissan) to look at it this morning. I checked the switch under the brake pedal and it only lit up the light on the deck. The Sonata was the car that, when introduced, bested the Camry in multiple comparos. (The Altima available at that time wasn't deemed worthy to even participate in those comparos.) check your fuse box in the engine compartment for a bad fuse. My wife left the inside light on all day and night. The battery was dead. In the process of jumping the battery, I accidentally crossed the jumper cables and shorted something. Did you check the gaps of the new sparkplugs before installing them? (NEVER assume the pre-set gap is correct for your car's motor.) Did you accidentally drop any of them on a hard surface? (A bent ground electrode and/or a cracked porcelein insulator can cause lotsa poor running grief.) Any possibility you might've crossed a couple of adjacent spark plug cables ... Read More...

yes everything is up to par. I am not sure if its something that the has to do with the mechanic that replaced my flywheel. I took it back to him today because it was replaced like four days ago he rechecked all the hoses and clamps but did not find anything, so he reset the code so now the engine light is off but I know my car and its not 100%! i had the computer read this morning ...
