Review

I test drove everything and finally settled on the Altima. Drives wonderfully and gets good gas mileage. Exterior styling is awesome. The 2.5 moves it well...can easily be at 70+ mph. Watch out for smokey!

Exterior styling and 2.5 engine.

Suggested Improvements

ABS should be standard feature. Interior is ok. Driver seat can be uncomfortable at times...too stiff. Beware of the Finance guy. He'll try and work you very sutelly and try to sneak stuff into the purchase. I caught him and the dealer ended up cutting me a refund check.

This is my third Altima. The car just keeps on getting better with each redesign. Great value for the money.

Favorite Features

Good headlights, auto-dim rear view mirror, large trunk, heated seats, bose system, rear leg room.

Suggested Improvements

Lighted steering wheel controls. Tighter suspension.

The Best Car i ever driven....wanted the acura tsx...but when i drove the altima i was SHOCKED!!!!!!!!! true performance in ever way..

the nissan altima is fun car for all ages. the 17" tires on the 3.5 model improve the look and feel of the vehicle. acceleration from the start is quick. the only thing i would change is the dash board intruments and really only able to be looked at by the driver.

the look of the rear end with the tail lights. the quick acceleration of the start.

not make the dash instruments so deep.

Altima,this is one fun car to drive.This car can get up and go!The interior is very cool,sporty,luxurious,roomy,great sound am fm cd player.Tail lights look great,looks like caddy rear end.LOVE IT!

So far I have had excellent luck w/ my Altima. It is extremely fun to drive, affordable, and comes w/ numerous luxurious options for a great price.

Interior design is incredible. Great use of space, while still achieving a sporty feel.

Review

I shopped for a car for approximately 3 months, test-driving many different types of cars. I drove Buicks, Camrys, Plymouths, Dodges, and VW's. My price range was $20K or less, out the door and I was a cash buyer. The Nissan had all that I wanted in a car, (keyless entry, auto, CD) and had plenty of get up and go, even with a 4 cylinder. I couldn't be happier.

Favorite Features

I love the spunk in this car. It has more power than many 6 cylinder cars I tested. It handles beautifully, and feels very solid on the road.

Suggested Improvements

Although well within acceptable limits, this car would be perfect if the interior noise level was reduced a little more.

Heater

I did not like the heater. The windows kept fogging up on me and I had to put the defroster on full blast to clear them. At times it seemed to blow cold air on my legs also. This is a rental car but I had it for 8 days. Nice car to drive though and would but one except for the heater nuisance.
