I have been satisfied with this car
(1997 Altima) since I purchased it used
in 2000. I have not experienced any
large problems with the vehical
(engine, transmission, etc.) and
overall it has been a very reliable car
with plenty of power and control for
The electronic cruise control is a
great feature on this model, although
cruise control is a pretty common
feature on most cars these days. I
think my favorite feature is that my
Altima has a manual transmission which
makes it a lot more fun to drive!
One problem that I have noticed is the
electronics in the dash board seem to
be a little flaky sometimes. All the
dash lights will randomly shut off and
only a good smack on the dash board
will bring them back on.
