Just 2 weeks old and can't get enough. So far so good. Excellent off the line, great steering feedback. Convertable is a breeze (Easy to use). The throaty sound is a nice touch. Excellent on Highways and shows little effort while cruising at high speeds. Time will tell on the quality and repairs. Interior is utilitarian and not flashy but has the essentials. You have to get Navigation. It works fantastic on this car. I tried to fake it out but to no avail. I also own a BMW328i and used to consider it my sports car....but no longer is that the case. Hopefully will have years of enjoyment....so far so good.
Navigation. Engine power. Convertable. Design and shape.
AC comes on when starting the car. Wish it was the other way around. Rear visability is poor. All Power seats. Currently there are 2 wheels on the side of the seat, they should be electric. Steering wheel radio controls.
The Z is fantastic. Initally people followed me to find out what kind of car it was. We live in the country and it's great to drive into the city with top down most days. Even cool days with elec seats and heater on it is just terrific. Absolutely tremendous sound system (try Billie Idol "White Wedding" on high volume...fantastic! Light in the backend though so you gotta slow down to live...but hey, it's so much fun to drive! Great carz!!! Roadster only though!!!!!
Sound system! Quiet! Very little wind on back of your neck! Dash layout is terrific. Standard rims are boring, however. Seats ultra comfortable.
Standard grey rims are totally boring. Tires are suspect; created noise on braking; dealer replaced front two... Awkward to close passengerside door.
So far have 9000 miles on it and it has been trouble free. Very fun to drive. Auto shift will not upshift or downshift automatically like on so many other cars, so it's a lot fun. Dealership located the color and equipment model that I wanted and had it in two days, and expierience was very good overall.
Great performance, great exhaust note, great handling, comfortable seats, great Bose stereo, looks get lots of stares and attention.
Interior could be better, although for the price and the performance, it's not as bad as some make it out to be, stock tires need to be replaced with winter tires during the winter in cold climates, which I quickly found out.
Nothig but a good time so far. Still turns heads and averages 24 MPG. The Z eats tires though so be prepared to change out every other year. The grip on turns is ferocious, this is where I usually pass everyone up. Hard to question the bang for the buck quotient with the Z. Especially the roadster. Are there cars with better interiors and stereos...sure, but for under 40K this one is hard to beat.
Strong V6, great gas mileage. Eye candy galore. Firm seats, with nice features. (Leather power seats, mirrors, seat warmers, electrochromatic rearview mirror, HID headlights, plus it's wide and roomier than most.
In a perfect world I could be surrounded in Connally leather, have a Mark Levinson stereo and 500 ponies for under 40K. The Z has none of these but is so fun to drive that you forget you don't have them. I would suggest to Nissan that they should at least OFFER more stuff, let the buyer decide.
