What Is It?
Mitsubishi Endeavor Ralliart Concept
What's Special About It?
Mitsubishi's Ralliart performance group is extending its reach across the Mitsubishi product line. The midsize SUV Endeavor is the latest model to benefit from a Ralliart performance infusion. The Endeavor Ralliart receives the same 260-horsepower, 3.8-liter MIVEC engine that powers the Galant Ralliart. A five-speed automatic transmission, modified exhaust system and Road Race Engineering custom cold air intake and coil-over suspension beef up the SUV's performance, while Brembo four-piston front brakes and custom cross-drilled rear rotors help bring the Endeavor Ralliart to a stop.
On the outside, the Endeavor Ralliart concept is decked out with PIAA driving lamps and tinted headlamps, red show paint, a metal mesh grille with the Ralliart logo and custom front and rear fascias and side skirts. The whole package rides on 20-inch Enkei LM1/5S wheels and 275/40R20 Falcon tires with a SuperAutobacs ground kit. Climb inside and you'll find a striking combination of custom leather seating and carpeting, plus Recaro sport seats in front, Ralliart pedals and a Logitech driving simulator steering wheel and pedal set to round out the look.
What's Edmunds' Take?
It's no secret that SUVs rarely leave the beaten path, and although we know the Endeavor is a capable SUV, the Ralliart version is a truck designed to entertain the masses. With a Pioneer DVD navigation system, a stereo system borrowed from the sporty Eclipse coupe and a Sony PlayStation2 running on a 30-inch Mitsubishi LCD monitor, forget a trip through the rugged outdoors — the party starts inside. — Kelly Toepke
