What Is It?
2004 Ford King Ranch F-150 Super Crew
What's Special About It?
Following its recent redesign, the Ford F-150 remains the nation's top-selling pickup truck. In an effort to keep its sales figures riding high, Ford unveiled its newest addition to the F-150 lineup, the King Ranch F-150 Super Crew.
The King Ranch takes its name from one of the world's largest working ranches, the 800,000-acre King Ranch in South Texas. Designed to offer truck owners the utmost in high-riding, working-man's luxury, the King Ranch features an exclusive interior wrapped in premium Castano leather trim. On the outside, the King Ranch further distinguishes itself with its own 18-inch aluminum wheels.
The King Ranch goes on sale in fall of 2004, and will be available solely in Super Crew configurations with a 5.5-foot bed and a 5.4-liter Triton V8 engine, and either a 4x2 or 4x4 drivetrain.
What's Edmunds' Take?
America loves its trucks, and we won't be surprised to see that Texans and Californians alike will be piloting King Ranch trucks on the ranch and to the mall. Kelly Stennick
