They should not treat a woman any diffidently, but I have female friends that have had less that positive experiences with the sales reps calling them 'Hun' ect. I would tell them if you don't meet my fair offer, I am leaving NOW and going elsewhere. There is a good website called http://www.truecar.com and you can put in your exact car and it will give you what others are paying. I ... Read More

I sent the following email to a Mitsubishi dealer without reply so far: I have received an email from your dealership where he indicates that part# MZ314455 ($300) can be accommodated into the 2012 Outlander GT roof (i.e. accommodation sockets (from factory) + roof rack base (Thule or Mitsubishi) + roof rack crossbar (Thule or Mitsubishi)). The part# MZ314455 encompasses the roof rack base (Mitsubishi) + roof rack crossbar (Mitsubishi). The ... Read More

Roof Rack Kit As it was said in this forum the Outlander 2010 (late) and Outlander 2011 have accommodation for the installation of a roof rack kit accessory (MZ314455). This kit includes the base + the crossbar (aerobar) at a price of $300.00. This kit has the Mitsubishi badge/logo and it was sold for Outlanders (e.g. GT) with roof accommodation (i.e. sockets). What in reality is the meaning of “Plug-In Thule ... Read More

I have had similar problems with my '06 Outlander as what I've been reading on this message board, and I think I have gotten my car fixed for real this time. I'm going to recap what happened to my car and hopefully this will help somebody else with an Outlander. In July 2011, I was driving on the interstate and my car suddenly lost power and could only drive up to ... Read More

Many thanks for your contribution. I have the electrical diagram of the European Outlander version and I am able to see that the rear parking sensor has a control unit (parking sensor box) below the car instrumentation and wires run from this unit to the rear of the car. This unit controls the operation of the system in order to act as you describe it. It appears that because Mitsubishi is ... Read More

Written by: isophorone on Dec 18, 2011 5:11:25 PM

Hi everyone! We just bought a 2011 Outlander ES 2WD. I think the MSRP is in the $22Krange, but our sales slip says dealer price of $21013. We got $2500 rebate ($2000 manufacturer rebate plus $500 "owner loyalty" because we owned a Saturn). After taxes, tags, and trade-in, our out the door price was about $18,300. Purchase was at Moore Mitsubishi, Chantilly, VA. We used the AAA buying service and got ... Read More

Do a Google search by using “genuine or original OEM Mitsubishi parts”. Prices on this on line business are reality much cheaper than those offered by dealership and they are OK. Long time ago I send an email to the part manager where I bought my Outlander with prices given by these on line companies, and I said that if he match those figures I will order all my stuff from ... The latter alphanumeric designation signifying this crossover's exceptional traction enhancing Super All-Wheel Control system that was originally developed by Mitsubishi engineers for the company's legendary Lancer Evolution high-performance sports sedan.

I think I said that the GT was left in a house’s garage in the city of Trujillo, Peru in July 2010. The GT has done 17,000 miles so far. We have returned to the USA for personal reasons (e.g. daughter wedding, other daughter new baby, and so on). The GT has got some scars of the torturous adventure to the South Pole, e.g. paint chips, scratches, the rear bumper with ... Read More

this one is the best looking one. And, just like the look a the Rally Red on my 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS, they look so so hot in Mitsu's patented Rally Red, boys. Number Two would be Kia's new 2011 Sportage. 2011 Kia Sportage in Ignition Orange The Mitsubishi Lancer is the best looking compact, the Eclipse has gotta be one of the hottest looking Coupe's (challenging Kia with their new ... Mitsubishi Outlander vs. Subaru Forester

The volume models are old - Galant and Eclipse. I agree with you about it being foolish to depend on sport coupes - they suffer from "flavor of the month" syndrome. They're hot when they are brand new, but sales drop off quickly as new competitors arrive. So you only get decent volume for a short period. Galant is how old now? I think it came out in 2004. Remember when ... Read More

Mitsu's site listed BMW and Subaru. Maybe I didn't scroll to the right enough? Or were you talking about Edmunds? Any how, Mitsu is certainly ambitious if they list BMW and Acura. Anyone who wants to spend $33k on a Subie can get an Outback 3.6R Limited with Navi, and that gets a backup cam with trajectory lines (does Outlander have those?), big engine power, and a huge 8" Nav screen ...
