2008 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS 4dr SUV (3.0L 6cyl 6A)
I was looking to upgrade from a sedan but didn't want the bad fuel economy of an SUV. This car fit the bill. This has handled great in the show and I live on country back roads so this was important. I was hoping for a little better gas mileage than it gets in the winter but as the weather warms up, it seems to be improving and I have gotten up to 27 mpg on the highway in 2wd. My 6 year old son loves it and thinks it's the best car ever!
HID lights - love them, FAST key system w/lock out warning if fab is left in the car, Bluetooth, heated seats (placement of switch is awkward but I've gotten used to it), 3rd row option, paddle shifts, quiet running/good balance, tailgate.
Where is the UGDO! I have to hang 3 gdo's off the visors to accommodate my needs and the visors are so flimsy they fall when I put the gdo's on them. There is quite a bit of road noise while driving. Autodim mirror would be a plus. Armrest sits too low and far back even when extended.
