Engine is smooth and delivers its power in a smooth progression but is muted by the car's weight. Both transmission choices are excellent for different reasons. The Evo is most at home on real-world roads, where its handling is, in a word, inspiring.
Could use a telescoping wheel and height-adjustable seats. Noise levels are just OK. Ride comfort is surprisingly supple for a performance car, and the front seats and driving position are outstanding.
Trunk space is on the joke side. The three-knob climate control layout is simple and effective, and interior storage is adequate.
More features and better interior execution than previous variants, but still won't have luxury marques scrambling for the design room.
