Summary

What Edmunds.com says

A solid all-around package for those who crave non-traditional styling more than ultimate cargo- or people-toting capacity.

Pros

Rides like a car, roomy seating, torquey V6 power plant, solid build and materials quality, good crash test scores.

Cons

Less cargo capacity than the class leaders, polarizing interior design, no third-row seat available.

What's New for 2005

Following on the heels of a significant midyear refresh for 2004, there are few new features for this year. Side airbags are now standard on all models, and an anti-theft system is included on the XLS.

Review

I have had this car for awhile now and I absolutely LOVE it! It's just the right size for me and it's really fun to drive!

Favorite Features

I LOVE the way that the stereo system is set up. I LOVE the compass screen and how smooth the ride is and I LOVE that the running lights are automatically on.

Suggested Improvements

The only thing that I don't fully love it that the way it's made could be better. It seems kind of shaky when you push on some parts. Like when you push the door panel or rear quarter panels, they squeak but that's something that is very easy to get over once you drive the car. [:

Review

I like my Endeavor, however I don't like the fact that the front window heats up when it is "hot" outside, even with the air on. I can also hear the wind through the sun roof when it is closed. Other then these simple issues I like to drive it often.

Favorite Features

I love the heated leather seats. The cargo space is awesome. Overall I give the Endeavor a 10 plus.

Suggested Improvements

Better air in the front window when it is extremely hot outside.

Review

I have 3 kiddos, and I can fit 2 car seats and 1 booster in the back seat, and the kiddos love it. This along with a great ride, huge interior space, cool looks (for a suv) and so far, a blast to drive. This car also performs well off road, tested right after purchase, I went about 20 miles in medium to rough offroad with very good results. The only quirk was that the ABS goes crazy when you only have 2 3 wheels on the ground. Nothing bad at all, just use the brakes as you would but the sound can be unnerving at first. First long road trip was wonderful, the stereo sounds good, and if you want an mp3 player, just pick up an fm transmitter / mp3 player. Cost me $45.

Favorite Features

Price right now is unbelievable for what you get, I could not find anything better. The ride is great, quality is top notch, very spacious, Great HP and Torque for the size of the car, aftermarket parts are available, very good clearance, center of gravity is lower than most SUV's.

Suggested Improvements

Anything below this is nit picking and really doesn't matter to me, but just to put it out: The stereo is pretty much non-replaceable. Although, you can get a 12 volt fm transmitter / mp3 player combo that works well for ~$50. That's about it. It is a very nice car, and for the price! WOW.

Review

I bought my Endeavor brand new in 2005. I have put over 80,000 miles on it and have not had any problems. The interior is larger than similar SUVs. It is so stylish on the inside and out. The standard features on all of the models are out of this world for the price. I would absolutely recommend this vehicle to anyone.

Favorite Features

Stylish interior, spacious cargo area. Tons of places to plug gadgets in. Fun and easy to drive.

Suggested Improvements

Full size spare tire would be nice. And I would love it if Mitsubishi came out with something like OnStar.

Bought this car new in 2005. 47000 miles now and never had a problem. Gas mileage could be better, but we use regular 87 instead of recommended premium. We will definitely look at replacing with a newer limited in a couple of years. Great car for anyone!!!

AWD system, great visibility
