2004 MINI Cooper 2dr Hatchback (1.6L 4cyl 5M)

Review

I agree on the first post regarding pep. With the CVT tranny I put it in, my Mini shifts itself at 6,000 RPM. It has plenty of snap! Maybe the reviewers were afraid to push it. You can push it. It takes it well. This car handles like a banshee! I love it! My next one is an "S" with a 6-speed transmission. If you're thinking about buying one, do not hesitate unless you need a back seat.

Favorite Features

CVT tiptronic transmission. How it handles so well. The navigation system. Tunes are good.

Suggested Improvements

It needs gutters for the water, it tends to run into car with the window open. The wipers need a stronger wind wing to keep them on the windshield at higher speeds. Make a 4 seater without the hatchback! I hear 4WD is in the works, that would be nice too for the Northern climates.
