2002 Mercury Mountaineer AWD 4dr SUV (4.0L 6cyl 5A)
the AWD is so well implemented that you don't notice it - unless youre the one driving the speed limit in the left lane when everyone else is slowing way down. This was my second (after a 2000)and the ind. rear susp improved the handling over the prev model. Even my wife loves it.
The only improvement I'd make would be to improve the comfort of the front seats. Even with the top of the line seats, the foam crushes too easiliy and over time (2 yrs?) it stays cruched. The vehicle rides nice and that helps ease the seat issue.
