Review
Its my first SUV and I think I made the right choice. We looked at alot and ended up choosing the Mercury. I love it. I've only had it 2 months but we had alot of snow in those 2 months and it handles great. Which is one of the reasons I wanted 4WD. I haven't had any problems at all with the vehicle.
Favorite Features
I love the heated leather seats in the winter!! The 4WD is great. I work in healthcare and no matter how much snow I have to go to work. We got 12 inch of snow like 2 days after I bought the vehicle and I had no problems getting to work. Start and stop was perfect. I also love the stereo sytem.
Suggested Improvements
The gas milage could be better.

Review
Sadly, I only had my Mariner for 3 months when I was in an accident and totaled it. Luckily, I walked away with no injuries, which is why I will be purchasing one again. I've never felt more safe in this vehicle. Very comfortable and smooth ride. I loved the extra's: Reverse Assistance, information system, stock AMP, heated leather seats, moonroof, keyless entry.
Favorite Features
AWD, remove-able cup holders, premium sound system. The SUV has great get-up-and-go, and is very easy to drive, in any road condition. The back seats fold down with little effort, and the headlights/fog lights were great!
Suggested Improvements
Thermostat controls on the heated seats. AUX input. Better MPG, but with a V6, 20 MPG isn't too bad.

Review
This is one great little SUV. Roomy inside, comfortable and really fun to drive. The AWD goes great in the snow. This Mercury is reliable as sin.

A liite buzzy under full throttle, the rear cup holder in the console is unusable unless you leave the armrest up, the autolocking doors should autounlock when you put in in park and turn the key off.

Review
This was my first time buying an SUV. Good gas mileage, fun to drive. I bought the black with the black/cream interior. Although it looks sharp, I imagine it will be tough to keep clean even without kids. Roomy, and easy to manuever.
Favorite Features
Definitely like the 6 CD Player and moon roof (moon and tune package)which was offered free (or so they say) with purchase.
Suggested Improvements
One extremely major improvement they can make is drip rail guards along the door panel. With light interior fabric on the doors it is constantly getting spotty with rain drips in heavier rains its worse. Back seat rarely comes out mostly because it is unwieldy to remove.

Review
Have had this car for over a year and am still happy with it. I enjoy the driving, even with a 4cyl it has enough pep for me. Average about 24mpg (better then a 6cyl). Great interior room, have been able to carry just about everything from my mountain bike to a big screen TV. Like the exterior design better then the 2008 model. The interior looks great, not as many features as the 08. Overall a great car!!

Missing an AUX input jack (added to 08 model) Seats show dirt and stains very easy (have tan interior). Ended up buying seat covers

Review
Wiper control Switch is a little confusing and takes a while to get used to. Light switch controls are clumsy. Other than these this seems to be a good comfortable vehicle. It would help if it had heated mirrors to keep ice off the mirrors.

Heated seats are very enjoyable in the winter. Plenty of power and very smooth shifting makes it a fun car to drive

Good visibility, good adjustably seats, no problems, peppy, good brakes, good cargo space for small SUV, tight turning radius, parks easily, good stereo, better than my former 2004 Toyota RAV4.

Review
Just purchased today and I am thrilled. I was hesitant on buying American especially going from a VW to a Mercury but I love it. Very quick, full of pep and its an head turner.

The interior leather seats! The moonroof and heated seats! 6 disk cd in dash!

Getting rid of the window power buttons and making it look more modern and the same on the stereo other than that its great!

Review
Having had a full size SUV, I like the more nimble, smaller Mariner. It is easy to maneuver, peppy, and fuel efficient. I have the rear sensor and heated seats plus keyless entry....what more could I ask for?
Favorite Features
Heated seats, keyless entry ( I can run and lock my keys in the car) and rear sensor...once you get used to it, you can't live without it!
