1997 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 2 Dr SL320 Convertible

Review

This is my second Mercedes but first SL. I purposefully purchased the 320 over the 500 and consider I made an excellent choice. This car has performed far above expectations.

Favorite Features

Road handling ability. This is such a fun car to drive.

Suggested Improvements

Right side air bag turn off switch so my grandchildren could safely ride with me.

The perfect automobile

Review

This is my second SL 500 and, like the first one, it has performed flawlessly. There is nothing like the solid feel of a Benz, and the convertible is the epitome of the MB design.

Favorite Features

Perfectly fitting soft top, and Panorama hard top

Suggested Improvements

None now...the 2003 model has incorporated the two things I felt were needed. One is the retractable hard top and the other is the video nav system.
