I am in the market for a new 2007 Mercedes E-class in Los Angeles. I've only purchased cars through private parties, so I am new at negotiating with the dealerships. The MSRP is approx 50,550 and the invoice is approx 47,000. Is it possible to pay below invoice price? If not, what should I expect to pay? Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated! Dealer in North Texas is quoting me lease for 33 months + 10000 miles (all taxes & TTL included): - $670 monthly with+ $8300 down on E350 + P1-pkg + panaromic + extras totalling $57325 MSRP The Edmunds & Mercedes Lease calculator tells me that right price to pay for this MSRP is: $619 monthly + $6000 down (all taxes, TLL included). I got a 2007 E-350 with sport package- first flat at 743 miles in May and 2nd flat at 1650 miles in June, both at city street- both Mercedes-Benz and Continental tire ( German made?) are dening any responsibilities- more than $500 out of the window! Any suggestion? advice? CY Read More...

I was waiting for 2008 models to be out so I can get some good deals on 2007 E320 or E350. It is not clear what is going on.. The mercedes benz home page gaves crazy numbers on 2008 leases. MSRP difference between 2008 & 2007 only $1200. Why? Other luxury brands are passing on considerable discounts post July/4th.. why not mercedes... I was tracking price gap in Accura ... Read More...

How are the 2007's holding up? ..... All I can way is that now after seven mos., my '07 E350 has been bullet proof. It remains rock solid and fun to drive with great gas mileage as an added bonus. Except for resale/depreciation issues I have nothing against an Audi A6....great car. BTW, in Texas, wouldn't you just be being tax on the car's MRSP but based on the lease's ... Read More...

How can one even compare an S2000 to a Mercedes? I own both a Mercedes E500 and a Bimmer 545i. They are two different creatures. The E500 is the logical choice for a classy night out or a long haul. The 545i is a lot more fun to drive with it's razor-sharp steering and curv-hugging capabilities. I haven't driven the E63 AMG, but if you want power AND luxury, I'm sure this ... Read More...

I have been leasing MB since 1979.....except for a Lexus I have has mostly E-class and 1 S-Class.....they have been good. Getting a little bored and lease is up this week, I went to look at the Audi A6 and see the Residuals are terrible compared to the Mercedes.
